02:02Just a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit, he took the midnight train going anywhere.
02:33A singer in a smoky room
02:37I smell a wine and sheep a few
02:41For a smile they can share the night
02:45It goes on and on and on and on
02:51Strangers waiting
02:54Up and down the boulevard
03:01Skaters, there's one minute remaining in your warm-up
03:07Streetlights, beeper
03:09Leaveness to find the most I'm hiding
03:16Somewhere in the night
03:30Working hard to get my fill
03:33Everybody wants a thrill
03:37There ain't anything to roll the dice
03:41Just one more time
03:46Some will win, some will lose
03:49Some are born to sing the blues
03:53Or the movie never ends

04:51Here comes a wave meant to wash me away
04:55A tide that is taking me under
04:59Swallowed sand that put nothing to say
05:02My voice drowned out in the thunder
05:07But I won't cry
05:10And I won't start to crumble
05:14Whenever they try
05:17To shut me or cut me down
05:22I won't be silenced
05:25You can't keep me quiet
05:29Won't tremble when you try
05:32All I know is I won't go speechless
05:38Cause I'll breathe
05:41When they try to suffocate me
05:44Don't you underestimate me
05:48Cause I know that I won't go speechless
05:52I won't be silenced
05:54Trying to lock me in this cage
05:57I won't just lie
05:59I won't just lie
05:59Me down and die
06:01I won't take these broken wings
06:04Watch me burn across the sky
06:08Hear the answer saying I won't be silenced
06:14I won't be silenced
06:16Though you wanna see me
06:19Tramble when you try
06:21All I know is I won't go speechless
06:26Speechless
06:28Cause I'll breathe
06:30When they try to suffocate me
