00:00180 people were sitting on a normal flight. Minutes later, they were falling out of the sky,
00:04and the only thing that saved them was each other. On September 30th, Fly Dubai Flight
00:08FSA-1073 lifted off from Dubai, heading to Tel Aviv, carrying around 180 people and cruising
00:15smoothly at 34,000 feet. For two and a half hours, everything was completely normal. Then,
00:20something broke loose inside the cockpit. According to Israeli officials, one pilot
00:24turned on the other and tried to seize control of the plane. That's when the jet started to fall.
00:28Flight data shows it plunged around 17,000 feet in just minutes. An emergency alarm went out,
00:33fighter jets were scrambled to chase it down, and inside the cabin, people felt their stomachs
00:37lift as the plane dropped. To everyone on board, it must have felt like the end. But here's what
00:41makes this story unforgettable. Instead of freezing, the passengers and crew charged straight for the
00:46cockpit. One passenger locked the attacker in a chokehold, while others piled in and pinned him
00:50down. And other pilots who happened to be on that same flight rushed in and grabbed the controls.
00:55And it worked. The plane pulled out of its fall, diverted to Tabuk in Saudi Arabia, and landed safely.
