A Russian Tu-95 strategic bomber crashed in the Amur region of Russia’s Far East on September 29 during a training flight, according to Russia’s Defense Ministry. The aircraft went down in an uninhabited area.

The ministry said six crew members were killed and one was injured. It also said the bomber was not carrying ammunition. The cause of the crash has not yet been established.
