On the Ghost Mother's legendary Bone Boat (鬼母骨舟) — an ancient mystical vessel sailing the Eternal Sea near the Heavenspan World — the Ghost Mother confronts Bai Xiaochun. Dismissing his scheming, she reveals the dying Tomb Keeper entrusted her with something to nurture. She offers a deal: take two people to train properly, and she'll show him a cultivation path in exchange, dependent on his destiny. When she threatens to take those people away, Bai Xiaochun warns she won't escape his wrath if she harms them.
