00:06to the Israelis billions of dollars worth of 2,000-pound bombs.
00:10It's not an arms sale.
00:12It's a gift of 40,000 2,000-pound bombs.
00:16So the scale of that is hard for the modern mind to comprehend.
00:22But that's, you know, six times the destructive force
00:26of Little Boy, the atomic bomb,
00:30dropped on Hiroshima in August of 45, six times.
00:33So it's kind of hard even to understand how much that is,
00:37and the Israelis are not buying this, of course.
00:39They were given the money appropriated by Congress
00:42to the executive in order to purchase these.
00:44So they are getting these for free
00:46at a time when the U.S. military is so short of munitions
00:49that we're constrained, completely constrained,
00:52because we don't have enough munitions.
