00:00Hashtag Top 5 Tactical Headset Earpieces for Security Teams
00:04What's up guys, so if you're running any kind of security detail, event team, or even just
00:09doing airsoft on the weekends, you already know comms can make or break your operation.
00:14I spent way too long digging through listings so you don't have to, and I pulled together
00:18the 5 best tactical earpieces you can grab right now without destroying your wallet.
00:23Let's get into it.
00:25Coming in at number 5, we've got the PRC624IDF710 Tactical Headset with the AirTube Earpiece.
00:32This one runs about $47, and honestly it's the premium pick on this list.
00:38What sets it apart is that cuboid PTT button and the air tube design, which means zero
00:43electromagnetic interference in your ear. If you're running TRI TCA or PRC148,
00:50PRC152 platforms, this thing plugs right in. Over 4,600 sold with a 4.6 rating, so people
00:57are putting this through real work and it's holding up. Number 4 is the WADSN Tactical
01:02Throat Mic, and this one caught my attention immediately because it has a perfect 5-star
01:06rating across over 4,500 sales. That almost never happens. It's a laryngeal mic, so it picks
01:14up vibrations straight from your throat, meaning you can whisper and still transmit crystal
01:19clear. Works with Kenwood, Balfoam UV5R, UV82, the whole lineup. Comes with a U94 PTT adapter,
01:27and at $23, you're getting genuinely professional-grade throat mic performance without the
01:32professional price tag. Number 3, and this is where things get interesting for outdoor teams.
01:39The waterproof adjustable acoustic throat mic is built specifically for Balfoam UV9R Pro and
01:44UV9R Plus radios. The big deal here is waterproof. If your team operates in rain, humidity, or
01:52anywhere near water, most throat mics will just die on you. This one won't. Adjustable fit, acoustic
01:59tube for clean audio, 4.7 stars from over 4,000 buyers, and it's only $11. $11 for a waterproof
02:07tactical earpiece. That's a no-brainer for backup sets alone. At number 2, we've got the
02:14budget king. This tactical laryngophone throat mic earpiece comes in under $10, $9.99 to be exact,
02:21and it still carries a perfect 5-star rating with over 4,300 units sold. It works with Balfoam UV5R
02:28and similar walkies, gives you a proper throat mic with PTT, and honestly at this price you can
02:33outfit an entire team for what one fancy headset would cost you. If you need reliable combs and
02:38you're watching your budget, this is the one. All 5 links are down in the description, go grab
