00:00Come with me to the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. It just opened in Los Angeles and I got
00:05a sneak peek. So in the lobby we have this beautiful glass elevator and I took it and
00:11of course the first thing I had to see was Star Wars. We have R2-D2 and C-3PO and
00:17immediately
00:18the exhibit is overwhelming. From costumes to props and vehicles there is really everything.
00:25We've got Obi-Wan here with Anakin Skywalker sitting. And jumping to the original series we
00:31have Luke and of course the Jawa on Tatooine. There's Darth Vader, there's Boba Fett. Really
00:38all of the most iconic props, costumes and as you can see lots of miniatures from the filming of the
00:44Star Wars movies. Had to take a special moment here with Princess Leia whom I love and it's just so
00:50amazing to see all of these pieces from the making of these movies in person. The miniatures were
00:56really spectacular. Up close there's so much amazing amazing detail. Of course there is the infamous
01:03chase scene and we couldn't forget the prequels with Darth Maul and General Grievous. And of course
01:10Mace Windu. Now moving on from Star Wars I didn't show you everything. The museum is so much more than
01:17Star Wars. There's Norman Rockwell paintings. There are incredible pieces of science fiction art,
01:23anime, manga, Winnie the Pooh. Really everything you could possibly think of. There's even a Banksy.
01:31This is an Aztec sunstone. And one of my favorites is the Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz. It
01:37honestly
01:37stopped me in my tracks. And you can't forget to check out the photography exhibit. It is, in a word,
01:43truly iconic, iconic, iconic. And they even have the miniature of the museum itself to get a little
01:50bit of a bird's eye view. Now speaking of the museum itself, the building is spectacular. I mean it is
01:57a
01:57work of art in and of itself. Through this observation window there we have Leia and Jabba. And as we
02:04can see
02:04outside there is a beautiful public park with all of these sculptures. And not only is the museum free for
02:11local residents, but the park is free for everybody. So you tell me, would you go to the Lucas Museum?
