00:14Ok Industries is the world's leading manufacturer of wire wrapping tools with over 50 years of manufacturing excellence.
00:21Our offerings include four distinct manual wrapping gun models, the rugged G100R3278 aluminum wire wrapping gun, the lightweight yet reliable
00:32G200R3278 Lexam wire wrapping gun, the G100R3278INS insulated wire wrapping gun,
00:43and the G100R3278FL insulated wire wrapping gun with LED flashlight attached.
00:52Regardless of which model you choose, you can be assured of producing perfect wire wrapped connections.
00:58To achieve the proper wire wrapped connection, you must first install the proper bit and sleeve that corresponds to the
01:05gauge of wire you are wrapping.
01:07The wire gauges are typically designated with the letters AWG for American Wire Gauge.
01:14Please note, bits and sleeves are sold separately. See our bit and sleeve selection chart for a complete listing.
01:21After selecting the proper gauge wrapping bit and sleeve, loosen the nose piece and insert the bit into the gun.
01:28To ensure proper installation, squeeze the trigger making sure the bit spins.
01:34Next, slide the wire sleeve over the bit and gently rotate as you slide it in until you engage the
01:41collet pin.
01:42The sleeve will slide slightly further into the gun where it will be properly seated.
01:47While squeezing the trigger, tighten the nose piece. This will ensure proper orientation of the bit and sleeve and will
01:55minimize drag on the trigger.
01:56The wire wrapping tool is now ready for wrapping.
02:00Insert the wire into the top hole, also known as the wire slot, and anchor it by bending it to
02:06the side.
02:07Place the tool over the terminal and gently squeeze the trigger.
02:11Remove the tool from the terminal.
02:13Your connection has now been completed.
