Andhera Ujala is one of the most iconic crime-based drama that follows a team of police officers working in a local station to fight crime and maintain justice in society. Led by DSP Tahir Ali Khan (Qavi Khan) and ASP Asad-ur-Rehman (Rahat Kazmi), the team investigates different cases in each episode—ranging from everyday crimes to serious criminal networks. Alongside serious investigations, the character of Havaldar Karam Dad (Irfan Khoosat) adds humor, making the drama both engaging and entertaining. At its core, the story highlights the ongoing struggle between good (light) and evil (darkness), showing how honest officers try to bring justice despite challenges and corruption.
