00:05So I wanted to talk about it very quickly and especially mention my biggest favorites of this year.

00:17We'll start with Mad, which is one of my absolute favorites.
00:20So how can I explain Mad to you? It's a somewhat apocalyptic manga, but above all, very contemplative.
00:25Sometimes you can go through 15-20 pages without dialogue, but it's contemplative.
00:31You look at the boxes and honestly, it's just shocking.
00:34And in my opinion, there's a real style there, a bit like The Walking Dead.
00:38I don't know, there's a vibe, which I find a bit comical.
00:41And I absolutely love it, there are plot twists, it's beautiful, it's tragic.
00:45Damn, Mad, that's a banger.
00:47Next up is Ichi the Witch. When it was first proposed, I wasn't expecting much.
00:52This was brought to the forefront by Horikoshi, who created My Hero Academia.
00:57I didn't find the design particularly exciting; it didn't really appeal to me.
01:00I read volume 1, I got a little bored.
01:03And the end of volume 2 blew me away, and ever since, I've been a huge fan of
01:07Ichi the Witch.
01:08Give this manga a chance, you'll see that there's a specific moment.
01:11At the end of volume 2 or 3, something happens, an event occurs.
01:15where you think to yourself, damn, this is taking on a whole new dimension.
01:17And this manga is extremely good.
01:19Next, I have Kurokawa's Centuria.
01:21That's what the otaku leader told me about back then, describing it as the new Bergerk.
01:25And likewise, it's one of the few manga that I buy as soon as it comes out.
01:28I finished volume 4 this week.
01:30Damn, Centuria, that's incredible.
01:32It's an epic, it's magical, it's tragic, it's touching, it's incredibly well done.
01:40There you have it, Centuria, a true classic.
01:42I also know why it's in the manga plus ranking, because Centuria is a real banger.
01:47Every chapter is so cool.
01:48I devoured the volumes in one evening because they're so good.
01:51And finally, I have Kingdom from Mayan, which I am rediscovering with the perfect edition.
01:56So, big tomes with gold leaf and all that.
01:59Those books are sublime.
02:00The reading is so enjoyable, it has author information and everything in it.
02:05I have a subscription with two volumes every two months that I receive.
02:09Damn, Kingdom is magical.
