Comedian Gianmarco Soresi proves that stand-up always finds a way - even in a global pandemic. Experience his first (and hopefully last) outdoor comedy special filmed in front of a socially distanced audience.

00:00I always knew I was non-essential.
00:06But it hurt coming from the government.
00:09Since the coronavirus pandemic,
00:11stand-up comedy has been obliterated.
00:14A welcome to the epicenter of the second wave.
00:17Comedians love low ceilings,
00:19and coronavirus loves low ceilings.
00:22I know I'm not gonna die from coronavirus
00:24because I'm the main character.
00:25Anything that's good for laughter
00:27is also good for spreading coronavirus,
00:29and that's the real conflict here.
00:31It's so weird seeing my therapist over Zoom
00:32because I've never seen inside
00:34my therapist's apartment before with her knowing.
00:39I did one of the first shows that came back.
00:42It was on a truck bed.
00:44Hello!
00:45Hey!
00:46And then the cops came in.
00:47That's the end of our show!
00:49I told my dad, I said,
00:50if you vote for Trump again,
00:51I will not speak to you for the next four years.
00:53So now my mom's voting for him too.
00:57This is the widest space I have ever seen someone parallel park.
01:01So I'm looking forward to this outdoor special.
01:04It's a nice way for all of the park shows,
01:06and the rooftop shows, and the Zoom shows,
01:08and the drive-in shows.
01:10You have no idea how many dead grandma jokes
01:12I cut from this special.
01:14It's just so that this whole nightmare
01:16actually means something.
01:19Take a picture, Brian!
