00:09Alejandro is a world builder and that's how it felt for us as actors and I think that's
00:14how it's going to feel for audiences.
00:16He just pulls you in, this beautiful, beautiful constructed world and he's done that with
00:22everything.
00:23Whether it's Birdman, whether it's Revenant, whether it's Amoris Peros and the world he's
00:27created here is unlike any other you've been to before.
00:30I've heard a lot of people come out of this film and say, I've never seen anything like
00:33it.
00:34So that's just what he does.
00:36Yeah, it's a total spectacle, it really is unbelievable.
00:38You went toe to toe with Tom Cruise.
00:42Just how did that feel in this movie?
00:44It's an absolute pleasure working with someone who is that positive, energetic.
00:49I remember once in rehearsal, I screwed something up and I was apologizing and saying, all right,
00:54let's move on.
00:54He stopped the whole rehearsal and made everyone give me a round of applause for trying something.
00:59That's how encouraging he is.
01:01Who doesn't want a boss like that, you know?
01:03So for him to be one of the producers in the movie, for him to be creating that space of
01:07joy and play, it's just so liberating for everyone.
01:10Do you have a highlight?
01:11I know it's difficult to ask you that because it's probably all a highlight.
01:16You know, honestly, the highlight for me was watching everyone else work.
01:19It was that kind of thing, it was like, when people weren't shooting themselves, they were
01:24still sticking around on set sometimes just to watch and say, oh, no, I want to see what
01:28Sandra is doing.
01:28I want to see what Jesse is doing.
01:29I want to see what Sophie is doing.
01:31This incredible cast was so inspiring.
01:34So a lot of it was, it felt like I had a front row seat.
01:37And your family are watching it tonight?
01:39They are.
01:40Yeah.

01:41She looks beautiful.
01:42She's in her sari.
01:44And yeah, I'm excited too.
01:46I actually, I've got to tell you, I shared it with not just my mum, but my brothers-in-law,
01:50my sisters-in-law, like from ages 25 to 75, everyone was laughing.
01:55Everyone was gasping with surprise and everyone wanted to talk about it afterwards.
01:59So that feels to me like the perfect reaction.
