A small drone entered Romanian airspace on September 24 and crashed near Solca in Suceava County, after remaining in national airspace for about four minutes. Romanian authorities reported no casualties, fire or material damage.
The incident occurred during a major Russian drone and missile attack on Ukraine. Romanian authorities have not publicly confirmed that the drone was Russian, although several reports have linked the incident to the wider Russian attack.
