00:28performances in London's West End and its best-known songs include Bright New Day
00:33and Tell Me It's Not True. Next we're heading to Warburhampton where Jeff
00:39Wayne's musical version of War of the Worlds comes to the Civic Hall on the 22nd
00:46of October. This is a special concert experience and strips the production
00:51back to the music that made the original album so famous. West End performers will
00:58be joined by a live band and orchestra with animation helping to bring the
01:04Martian invasion to life. So if those opening notes still send a shiver down
01:11your spine this could be the one for you. Also beginning on the 22nd is Birmingham's
01:18cocktail weekends winter edition. It runs across four days until the 25th with
01:25participating venues serving specially created cocktails, alcohol, free
01:31alternatives and food offers. For something free and family friendly Redditch's
01:38Halloween light trail returns to Morton Stanley Park on the 24th of October. The
01:45park will be transformed with illuminated displays, spooky seasonal entertainment and
01:51new themed areas created especially for this year. The trail is open from 5 till 10 in the
01:58evening giving families and friends plenty of time to explore the park after dark.
02:04There's more Halloween fun at the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley. Its Halloween
02:10nights take place on the 24th, 29th and 30th and the 31st of October. The museum's historic streets will be
02:19filled
02:19with costume characters, trick-or-treating and plenty of family entertainment. And finally Disney
02:26on Ice presents Discover the Magic at Birmingham's BP Pulse Live from the 28th of October to the 8th of
02:34November.
02:35Mickey and his friends lead an adventure featuring characters from Moana, Frozen, Aladdin, Toy Story and Coco.
02:43Alongside the skating there are aerial displays, stunts, music and plenty of familiar Disney family moments.
