00:00Today we are proud to announce that there has been 5 births of red pandai in the zoo and
00:08sad news also that one of them could not survive so we have five surviving individuals right now
00:14and i think this is the highest number of birth which has happened after a long time in this zoo
00:19and as you know this breeding program in jambu conservative breeding program so 2017
00:25it had totally disrupted we lost more than 12-13 pandas right so then the breeding program
00:35had totally stopped till and we restarted it again in 2023 after we procured got male
00:43individual because we didn't have male individuals we only had three females so after that again
00:49this has progressed and the progress has led to from three pandas in 2003 to today
00:5513 pandas so it has been a difficult times but now we have attained a very good sustainable type
01:06of population but it's again a challenge so to sustain this population without any disease
01:12any casualties the breeding center also we are planning to extend the breeding center so that we
01:19can have more breeding individuals and another initiative is that breeding center is kept away
01:24from the uh you to make or display area so the minimum disturbance is there today as you know
01:32adoption program we have our adoption program my child from wild any individual any organization
01:37anyone can come here and adopt any animal for any number of days any amount there's no fix to it

01:49uh open for adoption and please come forward in this conservation effort and not only that we have
01:56another happy news that uh we have birth of two himalayan black bears also this time and four gorals
