00:04Suffering and conflict.
00:06Belief that we are all separate individuals, separate from one another,
00:10separate from animals, separate from the world, separate from the earth,
00:14and separate from God or the ultimate reality.
00:18Suffering on the inside, conflict on the outside are the inevitable consequences of this paradigm.

00:26First of all, it's very nicely articulated to begin with.
00:31The problem, well there are just so many problems, right?
00:36And all these problems are to somebody, that somebody experiences suffering, as was said.
00:44So suffering is the inner experience.
00:46But the problem is not suffering.
00:49The problem is the sufferer.
00:51Nobody likes suffering.
00:53Suffering by definition is something that the sufferer doesn't enjoy.
00:59So we know that, right?
01:00But the sufferer hides behind two very hospitable and very friendly universes.
01:13And because it's a universe, so there is ample space to hide.
01:17It's a large space.
01:18One is the external space.
01:22The external universe is infinite, as we perceive it through the physical senses.
01:26The other place where the sufferer hides is the mental world of spirituality.
01:34So there are big words, truth, love, liberation, enlightenment, emancipation, samadhi, nirvara, moksha.
01:46And the sufferer can hide behind those words, right?
01:52And the sufferer is very good at self-deception.
01:56It camouflages.
01:59And therefore the sufferer remains with so much place to hide.
02:03You run outwards, you are called a materialist.
02:06You run into the mental world of holy concepts and you are called a spiritualist.
02:14And in either case, the sufferer remains to run.
02:19It is this sufferer, the ego, for whom everything exists.
02:25You are called a religious apoi?
02:30You are from a secularist.
