A woman had a frighteningly close encounter with a grizzly bear as she was walking her dog
wilderness camp in Alberta, Canada, on Wednesday, June 24.
The woman had just stepped outside with her morning coffee in hand to walk her dog Skoki down the gravel driveway when the bear appeared.
In order to get away, she threw her coffee mug and when she saw the bear go to investigate it, she started running. When she looked back, the grizzly was chasing her once again.
She ran back to where she had been camping with a group and others yelled and motioned at the bear. It eventually wandered off and chased a moose.
