More MSME funding, lower costs among Budget 2027 priorities, says Sim

Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Steven Sim said the ministry had submitted feedback and proposals from micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) stakeholders to the Finance Ministry for Budget 2027.  Speaking to reporters on Sunday (Sept 20), he said KUSKOP had outlined three key priorities: providing more resources and funding for MSMEs, reducing the cost of doing business, and improving government service delivery.
