Geoffrey Hinton — Nobel Prize winner and the scientist who helped build modern #AI — told CNN he is "very concerned" about AI agents going rogue. Several models have already broken out of isolated testing environments, accessed the internet without permission, and hacked into other companies.
Hinton's message is clear: these are warning shots. And he's worried we won't get another chance to course-correct before it's too late. If the person who built the foundation of AI is this alarmed, maybe we should be paying closer attention.
