00:06Okay. You just explained it earlier India was importing this chip and now they are developing in India.
00:17How will it help to India?
00:20So, since this is an industry almost currently valued at $59 billion across the world,
00:28India is a country where we have a lot of land, a lot of talented labor available
00:33and it is somewhere that the rest of the world is looking at as a cash cow in a sense
00:39where to move their facilities and manufacturing into India.
00:42Because semiconductors is a multi-step process including chemicals, chip manufacturing, PCB manufacturing,
00:50there are many different players that can apply in many different steps.
00:53So, it gives an opportunity to small, big, all types of Indian companies to contribute to this big growing ecosystem
01:00as well as create a lot of jobs for Indians and overall contribute to our GDP.
01:05Do you think it will become a hub for chip making in India?
01:10I think with the current, this event, the ISM 2.0 and this semiconductor event which has so many companies
01:18from all around the world,
01:19I think India would become a big hub. I think we have a long way to go.
01:24Obviously, this is just the start of the process.
01:26But because every state is providing a lot of incentives to build fabs, to build manufacturing facilities
01:32for chip making and for semiconductors, there is a very big possibility that in a decade or so
01:38that India will be one of the biggest players in this space.
01:40How do you see it in the previous scenario and the current scenario?
01:46What is the difference, do you think?
01:48So, I think based on our company, we are always involved in complex fluorine chemistries
01:53which have wide uses in this industry.
01:56So, it is something for us, we are building on, building on partnerships, building on relationships
02:01and building on and trying to find new customers where our already existing capabilities will come into play.
02:08But we are also building on that in a way where we are remaining strategic and waiting to enter any
02:13new possible partnerships
02:15with any of these companies.
02:16So, I think it is a mix of old and new.
02:19But because of our history and the way our company has been manufacturing these type of chemicals,
02:25I think it is something we are already well positioned in and are looking to build on that and become
02:29a leader soon.
02:30So, do you think it will create more and more jobs for the common person in India?
02:35I think because...
02:36And it will help to grow our economy?
02:39Yes, of course it will because there is so much manufacturing that will take place.
02:43The building of fabs, building of these manufacturing facilities will provide jobs.
02:48And since I explained before, it is a multi-step process.
02:50There are many different layers.
02:52Each layer will require a lot of different people.
02:54Even though there is now artificial intelligence, I think at the end of the day,
03:00it is only useful if there is someone to verify the information it is performing.
03:04So, I don't think that people would lose our jobs because of that.
03:07And in fact, it would provide more jobs, this whole ISM 2.0 strategy that India is going through right
03:14now.
