00:19from the 2026 isu adult international skating competition and if you're just joining us today
00:26you're in for some very exciting skating now adult skating brings competitors from all over the world
00:34some who have discovered or rediscovered skating later in life to athletes who are continuing to
00:40challenge themselves but how does it all work well there are two different things to watch
00:45for in this competition there is the age class and the skating level age class is divided into
00:52approximately 10-year increments class 1 is ages 28 to 37 class 2 38 to 47 class 3 48 to
01:0357 class 4 58
01:05to 67 and class 5 is 68 and older now the skating levels are divided by bronze silver gold masters
01:16and elite masters and as you progress through the levels from gold to silver and so on the technical
01:23difficulty and requirements get progressively harder so you have skaters competing at different ages and
01:31different levels against one another challenging themselves while they all compete in the sport they
01:37love so might be a little confusing at first but you'll follow along for example a skater skating gold
01:44class 3 is skating at the gold level and is in class 47 48 to 57 so stay tuned and
01:53watch more exciting
01:54skating these skaters are skaters who have started later in life or athletes who have continued all for the
02:02passion of skating that they love so let's settle in for another exciting day of skating here at the 2026
