00:00Alright, real talk, you're halfway through a build, you reach for a gear rack, and, nothing.
00:05Or you're three axles short with no way to finish.
00:08We've all been there.
00:10So I went through the listings and pulled the best value picks for top 5 MOC technical gear sets for
00:16builders, the ones builders actually keep reordering.
00:19First up, the set that saves half my builds, a bulk bag of high-tech parts, cross axles, pins, connectors,
00:25beams.
00:26The boring stuff you always run out of.
00:30It's $4.62, and with almost 4,900 sold and a perfect 5-star rating, that pretty much says it
00:37all.
00:37Gears get the glory, but connectors are what actually finish the build.
00:42Grab a bag.
00:44Next, a 120-piece gear rack set for $7.88, this is the one that turns spinning gears into sliding
00:51motion.
00:52Rack and ping in steering, cranes, extendable booms, sliding doors.
00:57You get the 3-2-4-9-8, 4-6-3-7-2, 32,072 and 4,716 racks plus
01:04gears to drive them.
01:054.8 stars, nearly 4,800 sold.
01:10If you want linear movement in your MOCs, this is the cheapest way in.
01:14Third, a 5-star starter pack for $3.50.
01:1916 pieces of gear train, track links, and chain.
01:23It's small, so don't expect to build a whole tank out of it, but if you've never tried a chain
01:27drive and you just want to see how it feels in your hands, $3.50.
01:32Over 4,500 people bought it.
01:35Cheap way to test an idea before committing.
01:38Fourth is the value king.
01:41100 pieces of link chain and gears for $3.27, that's roughly 3 cents apart.
01:47Same kind of chain links as the last one, just in a bigger pile.
01:51Tank treads, conveyors, drive chains, whatever you're planning.
01:554.8 stars, over 4,400 sold.
02:00Nothing on this list beats it on price per piece.
02:03And last, the Maramine 120-piece gear rack set at $10.57.
02:09Yeah, it's the priciest here, and yeah, the part numbers match number two.
02:14You're paying about 3 extra bucks for a branded set with tighter tolerances, and if you've ever had cheap racks
02:19that bind and slip, that's money well spent.
02:224.8 stars, over 4,400 sold.
02:27That's the list.
02:28All five are linked in the description, so go check the current prices before you buy.
