00:00If there's one song forever associated with Celine Dion, it's My Heart Will Go On.
00:04A movie this big needed a voice to match.
00:06And Celine had been working on that voice since she was very young.
00:10Born into a family of musicians, she wrote her first song in French with her mother and her brother,
00:15C'est N'était Carrelle, when she was just 12 years old.
00:18Her success began in Quebec, her home province.
00:22At just 13, she released her first album, La Voix du Bon Dieu.
00:26The public discovered a young singer with an extraordinary talent.
00:30Renée Angel saw a raw diamond in her and took charge of her career, investing in her future.
00:35Then came France, where she gained recognition with the song.
00:38D'amour d'amitié.
00:40A few years later, she competed in Eurovision, a European song contest, representing Switzerland with.
00:46Ne partez pas en moi.
00:48She won the competition, giving her career an even bigger international boost.
00:52The 1990s marked her international breakthrough.
00:55After intensive English lessons, she signed with Epic Records, began singing in English,
01:00and made her mark in the United States with the album Unison.
01:03Then came more success, including the albums Falling Into You and Let's Talk About Love.
01:08But Celine never forgot France.
01:10In 1995, she teamed up with French songwriter Jean-Jacques Goldman for the album,
01:15Deux.
01:15Which became the best-selling French-language album of all time.
01:20In 1997, Celine recorded My Heart Will Go On, the theme song from Titanic.
01:25The song exploded around the world and made her a global superstar.
01:29The success continued.
01:31She went on to perform more than 1,100 shows during her Las Vegas residencies,
01:35in front of millions of fans.
01:37But in 2016, tragedy struck when she lost her husband, Renée Angelo.
01:42A few years later, she was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome,
01:46a rare condition that forced her to step away from the stage after years of demanding performances.
01:51For her comeback, she said yes to France once again,
01:54performing at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
01:58Fans were thrilled to see her back on stage.
02:00And for her first concert in 2026 since that difficult period,
02:04she once again chose France, performing in Paris, the City of Light.
02:08The response was incredible.
02:10Worldwide hits, millions of records sold,
