00:10:01has attempted to control the narratives during controversy
00:10:05regarding a potential challenger that he says he will be the one to name,
00:10:09Hiromu Takahashi, Shingo Takagi on that list,
00:10:11but very well could go beyond either of those two names as well.
00:10:13I mean, Zack Sabre Jr., you know, already we know will face Sonata
00:10:18next week, Sunday, at Royal Quest in Crystal Palace
00:10:21and has said that if he comes away with the championship,
00:10:24then he will put it on the line in London next week.
00:10:28Tetsuya Naito responding and saying, well, pointedly looking.
00:10:32Look out.

00:12:33And we know we've seen a lot more recently, especially with the lack of success Naito had back in G1

00:12:41It's facing the best technical wrestler in the world.
00:12:44That's true, but he is also an extremely prodigious, prevalent, and capable mat wrestler, amateur wrestler.

00:12:53Let's not forget his grounding in that regard.

00:13:33And I don't think we can talk about this match in full without mentioning Brian Danielson
00:13:39at the end of his full-time career just the other day.

00:13:42Brian Danielson, you know, is cheering on Zack Sabre Jr. in this matchup.

00:13:48I know Brian Danielson wanted an AEW World Champion, his IWGP World Champion.

00:13:56That's sadly not going to happen.

00:14:04You know, in response, talking about Naito claiming Zack is going to leave
00:14:09for other organizations across the pond.
00:14:12But his status reaches that level.

00:14:21There is not a single person more suited to lead New Japan Pro Wrestling than I am.

00:17:40Well, I mean, there's not bad knees, bad neck, yeah,
00:17:44but, I mean, he's a professional wrestler.
00:17:46That kind of goes with the territory.

00:17:48It's how you deal with that pain,
00:17:51and for the most part, Tetsuya Naito is able to deal with it,
00:17:55I would say, against any other opponent than Zack Sabre Jr.
00:17:58Yeah, a man who is very, very skilled, highly adept,
00:18:02the best in the world at doing it, targeting those limbs.
00:18:05Oh, and that is just a show-off showcase from Zack Sabre Jr.
00:18:14Oh, it's so impressive.
00:18:16The way that Zack Sabre Jr. has described technical wrestling as an art form, Chris,
00:18:20I know that's something you're incredibly fond of yourself.
00:18:22Yeah, I mean, I've said this before,
00:18:24a lot we talk about technical wrestling like it's a science.
00:18:28That word, scientific wrestling, comes about.
00:18:31You know, Zack Sabre Jr. doesn't regard himself as a scientist.
00:18:34He regards himself as an artist,
00:18:35and there's a jazz-like flow to what he does.
00:18:40He doesn't have a game plan.
00:18:41He doesn't come in thinking about things,
00:18:43which is what Tetsuya Naito often does.
00:18:45You often see him image training,
00:18:46with his eyes shut in cold focus,
00:18:48you know, as his opponent makes his entrance,
00:18:51because he's trying to figure out
00:18:52what am I going to do in this situation.
00:18:54Zack just doesn't think he feels that might be the difference.
00:19:00Zack Sabre Jr. has Tetsuya Naito on this latter half,
00:19:03wrong through the ringer.
