A lot of us grew up being told, “Don't fall in love. We'll find the right person for you.”

So we listened.

We tried to be the good son or daughter our family would be proud of. When someone came into our lives, maybe we pushed those feelings away because we thought, “My family will find the right bride or groom for me when the time comes.”

But now… we're in our 30s. 😂

Some (most) of us are still single, watching our juniors in their 20s getting married, having kids, and moving on with life.

We're not necessarily jealous. But hey… a little jealousy isn't wrong, right? 😅

It's more about that strange feeling of watching everyone move forward while you're still standing in the same place.

Life keeps moving.
Age keeps moving.
And you're still wondering:

“When is it going to be my turn?”

And then comes the funniest part.

The same parents who once said, “Don't fall in love,” now ask:

“If you like someone or love someone, just tell us. We'll get you married.”

Like… love doesn't exactly work on an appointment system. 😂

It was easier when we were 18.
We were told not to do it.
Now that we're in our 30s, we're being asked why we haven't done it.

What did we do wrong?
Was being a good boy or girl really so wrong?

This song is a little funny, a little sarcastic, and maybe a little too relatable for some of us.
