Addressing farmers' issues, Jayant Chaudhary pointed out how the current government has neither ensured the payment of outstanding sugarcane dues, nor increased the base price of sugarcane. He mentioned how unity and harmony in society was a tradition that has continued since the days of Chaudhary Charan Singh, and it is as much a responsibility of the people, as his, to ensure that this tradition continues.
