00:02So I brought the new iX3 with me. It's completely equipped with the new panoramic
00:07iDrive. We have our 3D head-up display, we have our panoramic vision and our central
00:12information display. I've planned a route that we can take and enjoy the ride.
00:17So let's do this. Perfect. Okay, let's go.
00:23Really cool thing that we've done together, which is visualizing all the things around you
00:29directly on the map on a display. The cars, the cycling ahead of us and it's all very accurately
00:35represented so you can picture your car in space and time. All of that is fused in a single seamless
00:41experience, really providing a lot of context and reducing the cognitive load as you as you navigate
00:48it. It's really useful with this blue marking on the road where it's actually described the lane you
00:54have to drive through. It's super clear where to go to. So here we see that you can be in
00:58any of this
00:58lanes but as you're about to take a maneuver the blue carpet would funnel you into that maneuver
01:04making it really pretty easy to take those maneuvers. And I think then we should turn on our 8s
01:11functionality which gives you a good view of what the car is capable of doing. The system is checking
01:16if I still pay attention and looking to the road. So this is certainly what we do. However, the system
01:23is doing it right now by itself. So there's nothing I have to do. I can use the indicator to
01:28say go
01:29on and change the lane or the system can propose me a lane change and I can confirm the lane
01:35change by
01:35just looking in the outside mirror. And of course, while we are in this mode, you have this protective
01:42green walls around the vehicle telling you that it's the lane keeping, you know, that's exactly
01:48where I say, okay, this is the lane you're in. And so we stick with it. It's interesting about this
01:53turn is that we're taking the exit. And while the car is doing it itself, really pretty impressive.
02:00And now it's making it another turn. So you see how the exit here is really quite tricky because you
02:07have to make really split second decisions. Yeah. And this is a good example, you know, right here,
02:12it's super complicated thing. You have this divider in the middle and you have to decide if you go left
02:18and right. It was super easy to understand. And the carpet just tells you exactly where you need to be.
02:22Exactly where to go to. It's a heavy traffic right now. A lot of cars around us and it's so
02:28relaxing.
02:29It's super relaxing. I can take off my hands from the wheel and my BMW is doing a perfect truck
02:34by getting me to this traffic.
02:37I can take off my hands.
