00:00Come out onto the field of play here in Nicosia, a terrific crowd ready to welcome both sets of players.
00:09It is 38-year-old club captain Fabiano returns in goal in place of Thomas Kaminski.
00:15Brazilian Iwandro is also recalled to the starting 11.
00:18Javi Rodriguez, Alvaro Nunez, Pablo Duran and Kouhaib Driuresh are the others to come in.
00:24Club legend Iago Aspas misses it. We are off and underway in Nicosia and the road to Frankfurt begins.
00:35The UEFA Europa League lead phases back, both Omanir and Celta looking for a positive result here.
00:44All across towards Dione, wasn't a particularly good one, but Iwandro working hard to win it back high up the
00:51field here.
00:51And he's still got in the Brazilian. What an effort and a good save by Radu.
00:56Football from the man who had the shot to the man who kept it out.
01:04Lovely weaving footwork and he very nearly placed that into the top corner.
01:11Here is Marcos Alonso.
01:16Driuresh.
01:16He runs it up relatively well ahead of Duvern.
01:21Beautiful elegance on that pass and well brought down by Nunez.
01:24That's lovely football from Celta.
01:26In by Duran.
01:28And perhaps a little bit of indecision in terms of whether to shoot.
01:35I hope there is quality all over the field from a Celta perspective and Marcos Alonso looking for Nunez who
01:41loves to get forward.
01:42That's an enterprising run.
01:44Ferran Jukla and Koulibaly at his back.
01:49Koulibaly and Maric between them do enough.
01:53Now Devere.
01:55Look at the crowd on their feet whenever he gets the ball.
01:59Dioni again making a near post run.
02:02It's Jean-Kévin Devere.
02:04And he is agonisingly close to giving Ominia the lead.
02:09Team from Cyprus fancying their chances from range tonight.
02:14Thunderous strike.
02:16And another good save from Radu.
02:21Now here is Drewish.
02:24Maybe got an option to shoot.
02:27Mix out Hugo Bursio.
02:30Now Nunez.
02:31They are certainly building towards something here.
02:33It's teed up for Romain and it's over the top.
02:36Wolf of the game so far.
02:39Probably feel he should do better.
02:41Miguel Diwandra well taken down and it's still alive here potentially for Ominia.
02:48It has come back out to Devere.
02:51And now Dioni.
02:52Can he tee up a teammate?
02:54He does.
02:55Andreu.
02:57It's yet another long range effort that required a terrific tip over from the goalkeeper.
03:03Sergio Carrera teeing up Harry Rodriguez.
03:06And now Alvaro Nunez twisting beyond the defender.
03:12That's a lovely ball in well dealt with by Culebali.
03:16Teasing cross into the penalty area from Nunez.
03:19Asking to be attacked.
03:21In the end the defender was in the way.
03:26And that's back towards Sergio Carrera.
03:28And a sprawling save from Fabiano.
03:32It was never likely to end up in the back of the net.
03:34But the goalkeeper did his job.
03:40Running at Devere.
03:43Incisive run it was.
03:44It does go behind for a corner.
03:46But there will not be enough time to take it.
03:48That is the half-time whistle.
03:50And Ominia have certainly looked the brighter side so far.
03:58Three times in the first half.
04:01Ominia denied from range by the brilliance of the Celta goalkeeper.
04:05Ionard Radu.
04:10In by Hugo Gonzalez.
04:13And oh, what an effort that is.
04:16From Nunez.
04:17And it wasn't far over the top.
04:19And it's Javi Rodriguez to Romain.
04:23Going over the top towards Svedberg.
04:26He's in.
04:27And the first touch was a poor one.
04:29It's come back to Svedberg though.
04:31And Duran has rolled it in.
04:34But the flag is up.
04:38And Seltzer thought they had the lead.
04:43Just how tight was it in the build-up?
04:45Well, may well have been offside against Svedberg in the first instance.
04:56And by Hugo Gonzalez.
04:59And Borja Iglesias.
05:01And over the top from Javi Rodriguez.
05:09Here comes Fabiano.
05:11Flaps at it.
05:12But got something on it.
05:14Borja Iglesias.
05:16And Miguel Romain on the volley.
05:18And turned away by Fabiano.
05:21He must have seen that lead.
05:27That is easily the best effort that Seltzer have managed to fashion over the course of the...
05:37Don Salas with the corner.
05:39Marcus Alonso.
05:40And a one-hand ball.
05:42It's cleared away.
05:43Starfield right on the goal line.
05:47Malkovic out to Montnor.
05:49And Omenia happy just to slow the game down at this point.
06:05here is that dream
06:17now come it's clever ball over the top what law was after it let's come back to
06:21Braavish and they want handball against Starfield and certainly it was very
06:28close to the Celta captain in by Balkovic he's done it
06:39well would you believe it the goalkeeper caught out and the Overnier
06:46supporters cannot believe what they're seeing
06:53an extraordinary goal at an extraordinary time they've waited six
07:00long years for a moment like this in the UEFI Europa League
07:12what's a moment for Jura Balkovic to get his first goal for the club and for
07:19Celta time is nearly up for her Iglesias
07:24and that is easy for Fabiano
07:28and now Kukuli
07:45try to make more of this Kukuli's in behind
07:49Iwantro is there Kukuli went for goal himself
07:55that's it they've done it
07:59it is a first UEFA Europa League win since 2020 for Overnier
08:06What's the end?
