00:00Since 2020, thanks to my mother, I have had the honor of being part of the board of trustees of the Tisembornemisa Museum.
00:06But my commitment to this institution goes far beyond the obligations of the position.
00:12At this moment, memories of my father flood back to me with emotion.
00:17During my childhood visits to my favorite galleries, where they showed me the paintings,
00:20and especially the painting by Francesco Guardi, which had a signature on the bar's helmet made with a rag,
00:26which encouraged me to find it with a magnifying glass.
00:28Well, all those memories will always remain in my heart.
00:36I am proud, how proud I would feel today to see his legacy also cared for and enhanced.
00:41I feel like my father's heir, but not just a material heir,
00:45but heir to painting and sculpture and responsible for continuing the family spirit.
00:53For a decade now, that sense of family legacy has been combined with a passion for painting white women.
00:59And together we have started a collection of contemporary paintings.

01:10That's why, when Guillermo Solana proposed to Blanca and me in 2022 to launch an exhibition program in

01:16We enthusiastically agreed to show the public the construction of our collection.
01:21In two weeks, we will inaugurate with Kenny Scharf the ninth exhibition in a series that we have had nine monographic series.
01:28Among them are André Buster, Robert Nava, Peter Halley, Ayakō Rokaku, and Anna Wyant.
01:35As Guillermo explained, we have deposited works from our collection of great contemporary names,
01:39in the museum's permanent collection gallery.
01:42And right now, with excitement, we face the summer of '27.
01:46to make the sample that Guillermo mentioned earlier from our collection.
01:50I tell you all this not with any desire for personal glory,
01:53but to express that we are on board, as they say,
01:56that we sailed together with Francesca, with the museum and with the ministry on this great adventure.
