00:00Hi Who What Wear, I'm Wes Gordon and I'm the creative director of Carolina Herrera.
00:04We're backstage, you can hear the sets being dismantled of our spring collection that we
00:09just showed at Lincoln Center. This one was really special because it's a celebration of
00:13our 45th anniversary. The New Yorker embroidery was the artwork of the cover from the day of Mrs.
00:19Herrera's first show and of course the Warhol Foundation who graciously let us use the artwork
00:25of the portrait of Mrs. Herrera as an all-over embroidered dress and bags. But more than
00:29anything else this collection was about the women in the world of Herrera, the women who love to get
00:35dressed up, the women who love clothes, and the women who want pretty and beautiful things. Well
00:41in addition to being the face of Good Girl, our fragrance for 10 years, Carly's also one of my
00:47closest friends, our kids are best friends, and any chance I have to spend time with her and work
00:53together is a blast. For the anniversary collection of Herrera there was no one more appropriate than
00:58Carly and I put her in a look that felt very kind of 80s Herrera the silhouette but we did
01:04it in sheer
01:05black organza and we finished it with a pair of earrings by Tafan that are very similar to a pair
01:10Mrs. Herrera has herself. Because my five-year-old son made me this bracelet for good luck, he has to
01:15kiss it in the morning and the evening to charge it. So he charged it like he extra charged it
01:20today,
01:20got a lot of kisses.
