00:00I was driving when I thought I seen what looked like a yard sale. Turns out it was a guy
00:03that buys and sells tools from liquidation pallets.
00:06So he had a bunch of random things on the floor. And at first I wasn't gonna buy anything until
00:10I asked about a tire pressure gauge and he said to take it for free.
00:12So now I felt like I had to buy something. And the only thing I could think of was to
00:16buy his air compressor, but he wanted 80 bucks for it.
00:18And that was just a little too steep. But because of that, I seen a dirt bike in the back.
00:22And when I asked about it, he said 100 bucks. So I want to go look at it. And dude,
00:26that thing was freaking complete.
00:27Even when I tried to start it, it sounded like it wanted a turnover. So I knew it would be
00:31an easy fix if I took it home.
00:32Well, I ended up bringing it out to get more information from him. And he said his son brought it
00:36a few months ago, but then it stopped working.
00:38So he didn't know much about it. Still, feeling guilty for taking his son to dirt bike.
00:41I asked how much for the pressure washer next to him and we agreed on $200 for both.
00:45So after loading him up, I made it back home, but stopped at the parts store first because I wanted
00:49to see if I could make a run with just a tune up.
00:51The first thing I did was check if it was getting fuel. It did have a strong flow, so I
00:54didn't think anything of it.
00:55At least that's what I thought at the time, because after swapping out the old spark plug with the new
00:59one, it still didn't want to start.
01:01So now I was like, hmm, I wonder if I change out the fluid.
01:04So I drained all the transmission fluid out and poured in a new bottle.
01:07But when I tried to fill in the engine oil, I realized it didn't have a tank.
01:10Usually these bikes have an oil reservoir tank right in front of the steering wheel that mixes the oil with
01:14the gas on its own.
01:15But since this one didn't have one, that meant that someone in the past must have converted it to a
01:20pre-mixed fuel system.
01:21And if that were the case, it's very possible that the sun, they didn't know that and filled the tank
01:25with normal gas.
01:26And that's exactly what happened, because nothing but old regular gas was coming out.
01:30So after taking out as much as I can, I poured in some 32 to 1 mixed fuel.
01:33And when I tried to start it, it took a couple kicks to get it running, but eventually it fired
01:37up and stayed running.
01:39Like, dude, I seriously can't believe how easy this bike was to fix.
