00:00What's it like to squish Meryl Streep?
00:02Like, it's a great question because I, and I was telling Bobby this, I was like, do you, what's up?
00:08I just want to say, there is no better question you're ever gonna get asked.
00:12No, I've never, I could, I could act for the rest of my life.
00:15It is the coolest thing in the world that that is a question you get asked in an interview.
00:22It's wild, it's wild.
00:23This little time and place.
00:24It really is.
00:25Yeah.
00:25I mean, it's not, like, I was telling Bobby, I was like, you realize we're not in a movie with
00:31Meryl Streep.
00:32Like, we're not in Meryl's movie.
00:33Meryl's in our movie.
00:35And then I say, you know you're on camera, right?
00:37She can see this.
00:38I get it.
00:39It's okay.
00:39Meryl, you get it, right?
00:41She'll get it.
00:42And not only that, but I kill her.
00:46Spoiler alert.
00:47I don't know.
00:48I squish her.
00:49Sorry.
00:50Uh, but, um, no, it's, it's, it's, it's, I don't, that's never gonna happen ever again in my entire career.
00:57No, so.
00:58And it does.
00:58It'll be the weirdest thing.
00:59And she's the coolest.
01:00If in, like, ten years you're in a movie and you just happen to, like, squish Meryl Streep.
01:04Again?
01:05That would be, you need to get, you need to get the trifecta, yeah, you need to get the, the,
01:09the hat trick there.
01:12Also, Meryl Streep, the coolest person in the world for doing this movie.
01:16Oh my gosh.
01:17But Daniel, the director showed us a picture of, of him with Meryl Streep last night and she had Jordans
01:22on.
01:23And that is now my new favorite fact.
01:25And Bobby said, I will be talking about that in an interview tomorrow.
01:27It's my new favorite fact.
01:28I need your profile.
01:29She's the coolest.
01:30Yeah, and the funny thing about that is I, I was afraid that was gonna be a deal breaker with
01:33Meryl when we pitched her the movie.
01:34Cause I, you know, we were on Zoom initially and I, you know, I told her all about the story
01:38and I was like, oh yeah, this is the insect queen.
01:42She's powerful, blah, blah, blah.
01:43And, uh, she was with all of it.
01:46She loved the beaver part.
01:47She loved the kind of themes.
01:48And then I was like, but Meryl, I have to tell you, you're not gonna survive past your first sequence.
01:54And I was like bracing myself thinking like, uh, she's gonna like roll her eyes.
01:58Like, well, this doesn't seem like a good use of my time, but she was down.
02:02She loved it.
02:03I mean, it speaks to the sense of humor she has, you know, she laughed through most of the pitch
02:07and she laughed at that squish, you know, and she thought it was a really fun idea and she was
02:12down for it.
02:13So, um, that part, uh, was, was really fun to kind of involve her.
02:18And also just the thought of like, who would be not, it's not just shocking that it's the insect queen,
02:23but it's shocking also because it's Meryl Streep.
02:26You know, so it's got a layered kind of shock value to it.
02:29And I think that was the fun of that.
02:30Yes.
02:31A phenomenal, okay.
02:31So, there we go.
02:34So, it's, that lovely to have you got.
02:36You
