00:00Ok, so you've fallen down the watch modding rabbit hole, and now you're staring at a dozen browser tabs trying
00:05to figure out which parts are actually worth your hard-earned cash.
00:08I've been there, and it can be a total minefield of mismatched sizes and low-quality junk.
00:14Well, you can close those tabs because I've done the digging and found the best deals for the top 5
00:19quartz movement parts for watch modding.
00:21First up, if you're looking to build a chronograph on a budget, you need a solid foundation, and this VK63
00:28starter kit is a no-brainer.
00:30For just $5.34, you're getting the case, a dial, hands, and the movement itself – it's basically the entire
00:37heart of your build in one package.
00:39With nearly 5,000 sales and a 4.7-star rating, you know it's a reliable choice.
00:45This is the perfect way to get your feet wet without spending a fortune, and it gives you a ton
00:49of spare parts to experiment with.
00:52Once you've got your movement sorted, the dial is where you can really make the watch your own.
00:57This 32.5mm green luminous dial is an absolute stunner.
01:02The sterile design, meaning no brand logos, gives it a super clean, custom look, and that green lume is going
01:08to glow like crazy.
01:09For only $8.29, it's an incredible value.
01:14Guys, it's sold over 4,800 times with a 4.8 rating for a reason – it's a high-quality,
01:20easy way to completely change the personality of your VK63 build.
01:24But what if you're working on a simple, everyday three-hander?
01:28The Miota 2035 is the gold standard for that, and this one is a steal at just $3.85.
01:35It's a workhorse movement known for being durable and reliable, and this listing specifically mentions it has metal gears for
01:41the best cost performance.
01:43Don't let the low price fool you, with over 4,500 sales, this is the go-to movement for countless
01:49modders.
01:50It's the perfect, affordable engine for a clean and classic watch.
01:55Okay, let's talk about the case, because this is what you'll be looking at and feeling on your wrist.
02:00If you want to step up from a basic kit, this 39mm silver stainless steel case is the way to
02:06go.
02:07It's a direct fit for the VK63 movement and feels way more premium than its $23.28 price tag would
02:14suggest.
02:15The fact that it often comes with a strap is a huge bonus, saving you another purchase.
02:20It has a rock-solid 4.8-star rating from over 4,400 buyers, so you know you're getting a
02:26quality piece that will make your build feel legit.
02:29And for your final touch, let's go back to the dial, because this Neaton option is just too good to
02:34ignore.
02:35It's another 29mm dial for the VK63, perfect for those 39mm cases we just talked about.
02:43But what makes this one special is its 4.9-star rating, that's the highest on our list.
02:49It features six hands and that beautiful green luminous finish.
02:53At $8.01 and with over 4,300 sold, it's a proven favorite.
02:58If you want the best of the best for your dial, this is it.
