00:00It was an impressive display from England cricket in the Midlands at Edgbaston.
00:06England swept Pakistan aside fairly easily in the third test to win the series 3-0.
00:12It's been a great start to life under Joe Root.
00:15Interim test coach and former England opener Marcus Treskothik has enjoyed a successful mini-spell taking charge of the team
00:23as head coach,
00:25but now has revealed he no longer plans to stay in the dressing room once new head coach Stephen Fleming
00:31arrives.
00:33I think there's been many things over the course of the month that we've tried to implement at the start
00:40of the series
00:41that have shown through and got better or planned out as we wanted them to do.
00:49And that's individually and group as well.
00:54I think we've seen from the group point of view different things that we've tried to do with the batting,
00:58styles of bowling that we've wanted to try and do,
01:01and then individuals have obviously put their case forward with good opportunities
01:05while Jordan Cox, Dan Lawrence, Emilio Gay, all different people have had opportunities
01:11over the course of these three matches that have had success during that time.
01:16So many different things that we wanted to see and impact.
01:20It puts the team in a position where the people behind the scenes and the people coming in to take
01:26over the job
01:26will be able to have a better position to know what's happening.
