Districts such as Surat, Navsari, Bharuch, and Tapi, as well as Kheda and Anand in Central Gujarat, received over 400 mm of rain. According to IANS, the Army has rescued 34 people in flood-hit Surat. Flood-like conditions have cut off access to several villages.
