00:22it is huge and so much fun and of course the elephants were the best part we got to feed
00:28them and swim in the river with them the staff seemed to really care for each other and their
00:33animals they relied on bribes to get them to go anywhere we went with a large group 12 people
00:40and everyone got quality time pickup was on time 8 a.m but we weren't rushed when some members of
00:48our group were late lunch was a family restaurant and delicious we were dropped off around 5 p.m
00:55after stopping for coffee this experience was recommended to us by a friend and we will pass
01:01on the good word thank you the order in which all the experiences happen may vary for us we started
01:09with bamboo rafting then the waterfall ate lunch and ended with the elephant sanctuary they provide
01:17water so you will be plenty hydrated our guide was friendly and informative and spoke decent english
01:23the elephants were friendly but just so you know you would do well to bring an extra set of dry
01:30clothes
01:30bathing suits and a waterproof camera or a water pouch for your cell phone doing a mud bath and
01:37bathing the elephants is fun but you will be waiting and touching mud mixed with their poop
01:41you can definitely smell it the lunch was acceptable pad thai but nothing special
01:47definitely worth doing this activity if you're in xiang mai this was a great day out small group

02:36we went directly to the bamboo river rafting we were given a chance to change ahead of time which was

02:43even though our family was prepared with swimsuits already on love the rafting wished it could have gone
02:49on longer you will get wet no avoiding it then on to the elephants they were beautiful and amazing and
02:57incredible all the superlatives lunch was okay not the best food we've had the rest of trip the visit to
03:05the caron hill tribe felt a bit forced and artificial the waterfall was pretty cool and an easy walk
03:13i had a wonderful time it was really fun rafting down the river seeing elephants fauna and flora along the
03:20way
03:21but the real thrill was the elephants as is with most animals their stomach rules the roost
03:27and these guys had the routine down pat knowing there were multiple treats involved at each stop
03:32you could tell they were loved and well treated the waterfall dulled compared to the rest of the trip
03:39food was very local enjoyed it our hostess was wonderful and very sweet i think her name was neat i

03:47and the rest of our group was fun too the tour was fantastic with exceptional guides who went above and
03:55beyond they were attentive helping with photos and making everyone feel comfortable the guides were
04:02caring and professional making the trip fun and informative the activities including the ethical
04:08elephant sanctuary visit and bamboo rafting were thoroughly enjoyable despite minor issues like delayed
04:15pickups and scheduling differences the overall experience was highly satisfying the tour is highly
04:22recommended for a memorable day in chiang mai offering fun safety and great memories
