We’ve got our hands on a Porsche Speedster, a Ferrari 250 GT, a Series 1 Jaguar E-Type, and a Mercedes 300SL - but with a difference!
Junior Cars lent us all four cars, and they’re miniature replicas of these world-famous sports cars!
Each of the four cars comes with a steel chassis and fibreglass bodywork that replicates the original car. All four cars here are equipped with a 125cc single-cylinder engine that produces a total of 9hp, and all cars have a 3-speed sequential gearbox. All four cars are also Rear Wheel Drive only.
So how will this one play out? The Ferrari, Jag and Mercedes have front-mounted engines, while the Porsche is rear-mounted - will that prove decisive? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE!

00:51Now, those three cars all have their engines at the front.
00:53And this one, because it's a proper Porsche, has it at the rear.
00:57They are all rear-wheel drive, though.

18:02It completed the standing quarter mile in 32.2 seconds.
18:06The Mercedes took 32.9 seconds,
18:08and the Porsche was last with a time of 35.5 seconds.
18:11However, this last race doesn't tell the whole story.
18:14Without its extra ballast,
18:15the Porsche was actually faster than the Ferrari and Mercedes.
18:18It had a best time of 31.7 seconds.
18:21And before racing driver Sam broke it,
18:23the Jaguar was even quicker.
18:24It completed the standing quarter mile in 30.5 seconds.
