00:00Hi baby, I'm, baby, you have to listen to me carefully. I'm on a plane that's been hijacked. I'm on
00:05the plane, I'm calling from the plane. I want to tell you I love you. Please tell my children that
00:10I love them very much and I'm so sorry, babe. I hope to be able to see your face again,
00:16baby. I love you. Bye.
00:19Jules, this is me. This is on an airplane that's been hijacked. Things don't go well. I'm looking for you.
00:26I just want you to know and absolutely love you. I want you to do good. I feel happy to
00:30see you. Same to my parents and everybody. I just totally love you and I'll see you later. Bye, babe.
01:00These voices remind us of what was taken from us that morning.
01:04But September 11th is not only a story of what America lost. It's also a story of what America found
01:11in one another. And when the sun rose on September 12th, we stood together as one nation under God.
01:19The next day as I drove to work, there was suddenly no road rage. People honked and smiled and flew
01:25the stars and stripes for coming together on 9-11 as we have not come together since World War II.
01:31On September 12th, something extraordinary happened. America and much of the world came together. People reached across differences. Strangers embraced.
01:43Neighbors helped neighbors. People of different faiths, races and backgrounds and political beliefs stood together because for a moment we
01:55understood what matters most.
01:57We are human beings first. We are human beings first. Lord, help us to remember that lesson. Evil tells us
02:03to hate one another. Evil tells us that some lives matter less than others. Evil divides, but love unites. Compassion
02:12heals. Courage protects.
02:14And respect for every human being gives dignity.
