The IDF says it has destroyed a major Hezbollah underground complex beneath the Ali al-Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed the operation, saying Israeli forces will remain in the area to prevent Hezbollah from rebuilding its capabilities.
According to the IDF, the underground network stretched for more than 2 kilometers and included command facilities, weapons storage and living areas. The claims about the contents and extent of the complex have not been independently verified.
