Madrid brings F1 fever to the streets

Tourists and residents of Madrid on Thursday (September 10) enjoyed the atmosphere of Formula 1 without the need to attend the race itself. Replicas of the vehicles used by the different drivers were placed in various parts of the Spanish capital, while several stores offered products inspired by the race. Fans could also attend the F1 Arcade, where they could play video games, eat, drink and enjoy live DJ sets.

Spain is hosting two races this season, with Madrid's street circuit around the IFEMA exhibition center following Barcelona's Catalunya Grand Prix on the calendar. The Madring is the first new circuit since Las Vegas three years ago and brings down the curtain on the regular European leg of the season.
