00:00How safe is the food you buy from the market labeled as organic and thought to be healthy?
00:05Retail giant Walmart is hurriedly pulling a product found in millions of household freezers
00:10off its shelves. Welcome. Today, we are looking into a massive food recall scandal that is being
00:16quietly brushed under the rug, yet affects millions. What exactly was found in Walmart's
00:21private label Great Value Organic Fruit Packages? What went wrong in this chain stretching from
00:27chili to our plates? We are discussing all the details and censored. It all started with an
00:32urgent notification issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the FDA. A dangerous pathogen
00:39was detected in Great Value Organic Triple Berry Blend packages sold on Walmart shelves under the
00:44guise of a healthy lifestyle. The packages contain frozen organic strawberries, blackberries, and
00:50blueberries. However, official testing indicated a potential contamination risk with E.
00:55E. Coli O145 bacteria. So, what is E? Coli O145. We aren't talking about a simple stomach bug here.
01:06This toxin-producing strain of bacteria causes severe stomach cramps, bloody diarrhea lasting for
01:12days, and high fever. It poses serious complications, even leading to kidney failure, especially in young
01:19children and the elderly. If you live in the United States or have relatives there, these details are
01:24critical. The products were packaged by the chili-based company Fruitus Y Hortalizes Del Sur and
01:29distributed to Walmart stores across 16 different states. If you want to check your own freezer,
01:35here's the information you need to look for. The product name is Great Value Organic Triple Berry Blend
01:40in 10 ounce or 283 gram bags. The UPC barcode is 787-421-1226. The lot code is 6040-01
01:51-6 and the best buy date is
01:53February 9, 2028. That is the biggest trap with frozen foods, an expiration date stretching all the way to
02:002028. People buy this product, throw it in their freezer, and consume it months later. Fortunately,
02:07no official hospitalizations or fatalities have been reported so far, but the risk remains very high.
02:13The real question we need to ask here is this. How does fruit harvested thousands of miles away in the
02:19fields
02:19of Chile end up packaged with bacteria and brought into our homes? Most people believe that freezing food
02:25kills bacteria. That is a complete urban legend. Freezing does not kill bacteria. It merely freezes them into a state
02:33of hibernation. The moment the package thaws, the bacteria wake up and begin to multiply. A tiny piece
02:39of contamination in irrigation water during the farming stage or a lapse in hygiene at a facility can
02:45suddenly reach thousands of home freezers thanks to the global supply chain. Carrying an organic label,
02:50unfortunately, offers no shield against biological risks. This situation serves as another reminder of what
02:57we should pay attention to regarding our own food safety. First, washing is not enough. If you have
03:03this product in your freezer, don't say, I'll just wash it and it'll be fine. Organisms like E. coli are
03:11not
03:11removed by simply rinsing with water. Either throw the product directly in the trash or return it to
03:16Walmart for a full refund. Second, heat treatment is essential. Instead of throwing frozen berries raw into
03:23smoothies, cooking them into jams, sauces, or compotes eliminates all bacterial risk thanks to high
03:29temperatures. What do you think about food inspections by major corporations and these breakdowns in the
03:34global supply chain? Do you trust frozen foods? Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments below,

03:47stay safe!
