00:00Sport creates belonging, it creates identity, it creates a connection and those connections really matter.
00:08When somebody is struggling, often it is not a professional who first notices.
00:14It's a friend, a coach, a colleague, a teammate.
00:19Someone who sees a change.
00:22Someone who asks if everything is alright.
00:25Someone who starts a conversation.
00:29And that conversation could make all the difference.
00:33Over the past year, through the Royal Foundation's work on suicide prevention, we have listened carefully to organisations across the
00:41sporting community.

00:44This industry wants to do more.
00:47Those in sport recognise the role that they can play.
00:50But many told us they needed practical guidance on how to respond.
00:54How to build confidence and how to support people before they reach crisis point.

01:09in sport.
01:11Developed by the Royal Foundation with the British Standards Institution and Chasing the Stigma,
01:18This toolkit provides a clear, practical and evidence-based guidance for sports organisations at every level.
