00:20The former Bournemouth manager said he's looking forward to his first taste of Champions League action.
00:26Here is what he had to say.
00:28How much are you looking forward to your first Champions League game in charge of Liverpool
00:32and facing someone in Diogo Simeone who you've obviously faced before back in Spain
00:36and I think you faced as a player as well?
00:38Yes, I think obviously it's a special night for me.
00:44Everyone talks, no?
00:45The Champions League night at Anfield and also the first game is against a strong opposition,
00:52Atletico Madrid, as you said.
00:55Simeone is doing an incredible job as a manager.
00:59I think to be all the years that he has been achieving every season,
01:03the goals of the club I think is remarkable
01:07and definitely is a big challenge for us.
01:10As you said, I think I played against him as a player.
01:13I was still a player and I played against his teams when he was a coach
01:18and I also coached against him.
01:20So we had a lot of precedents before.
01:24Definitely he has much more experience than me.
