🚫 New York City just banned AI tools in 600,000 K-8 classrooms!
NYC's Department of Education has prohibited #AItools for K-8 students starting this school year. Screens are banned entirely through 3rd grade, companion chatbots are off-limits at every K-8 level, and teachers can't use AI for grading.
This is one of the biggest #AIinEducation policy moves in the US — and it could set a precedent for school districts across the country.
