00:00That move, I drafted it three years ago, in my own handwriting.
00:07Ivy, don't make a scene.
00:09The audience already calls it Mia's signature.
00:16Don't climb on that ice today.
00:18They want you to slip, not now.
00:21If I don't skate today, that move becomes hers forever.
00:25Sis, everyone's clapping for me.
00:28Stay up there and enjoy the view.
00:30Then help me rebuild it.
00:33Backstage.
00:34Now, before I go on.
00:37Backstage.
00:37Five minutes.
00:38I'll burn the choreo into your bones.
00:45Eyes on the mirror.
00:46Watch my hand.
00:47Where it goes, you follow.
00:50If I forget the count, pull me back.
00:53Don't let me drift.
00:54I'll be on the edge.
00:56Every count.
00:58You won't drift.
01:01Look familiar, baby?
01:03That used to be us.
01:04Not him.
01:06That chemistry.
01:08It lives in muscle memory.
01:10It belongs to me.
01:12Always.
01:16The chemistry was mine.
01:18You just stood next to it.
01:22Already uploaded.
01:23Title, coach for rehearsing in Frivet.
01:26Live in three minutes.
01:27Ivy.
01:28Slot's been moved.
01:29You go on right after Mia.
01:31No warm-up break.
01:35Hold it again.
01:37Your fingers still remember the metal weight, don't they?
01:43What my fingers remember is the day you let go of them.
01:46Forget that photo.
01:47Forget that metal.
01:48On my ice, we make new memory.
01:51Now.
02:02Count two.
02:03Hand on my shoulder.
02:05Don't think.
02:06Feel.
02:15I can't feel his hand anymore.
02:17Only yours.
02:18Then keep skating until that's the only hand your body knows.
02:24Sis, you're on right after me.
02:26Let the crowd compare us face to face.
02:30Don't accept her trap, heart.
02:32After her routine, the crowd will be drunk on her clapping.
02:36I want them drunk.
02:38They'll never hear me coming.
02:43Then I'll be at the bars.
02:45Every breath.
02:46You don't skate alone.
02:53When she takes her last bow, you don't bow.
02:57You burn.
03:05Try not to fall on my bow, sis!
03:12She's not skating Mia's version.
03:13She's skating hours.
03:15What hours?
03:16You said the choreo was mine!
03:38That's the original Mia stole a shell.
03:41Heart kept the soul.
03:42She just stumbled at count six.
03:44She's hiding a torn ligament.
03:45Get her off before she crashes the gala.
03:47Heart.
03:49If your knee's compromised, we need medical clearance.
03:51Tonight.
03:52I just outskated a stolen routine.
03:55With a stumble.
03:56Now she wants to ban the leg that did it?
03:58Witty.
03:59But I run this gala on liability, not wit.
04:04Medical review tomorrow.
04:05Or you're out of the showcase.
04:07She'll pass it.
04:08I'll be there.
04:09Every test.
04:10Of course you'll be there, coach!
04:12Holding her knee, holding her waist, holding everything else!
04:16Bring every doctor in Denver tomorrow.
04:19I'll skate through all of them.
04:21Then tomorrow we'll all watch how a torn knee skates through a hospital floor.
04:27Tomorrow's review will be public.
04:29Cameras in the room.
04:31Every flinch on screen.
04:32Cameras.
04:34Doctors.
04:35Whoever.
04:37But when they touch her knee.
04:41When they touch her knee.
04:43I want every camera off.
04:45Or no test.
04:46Cameras stay.
04:48Otherwise the gala drops her.
04:50That's the deal.
04:51Get on, sis.
04:52Let the city see which leg you can still stand on.
04:56Heart.
04:57Skip the lateral pivot.
04:58Just the basic flex.
04:59That's all they need to see.
05:02You too?
05:03You also think one wrong move and I shatter?
05:06Even your coach's hand is shaking, sis.
05:08That's how scared he is of you breaking.
05:14I'm not afraid you'll lose.
05:15I'm afraid this ice takes you.
05:17The way it took your mother.
05:18Don't.
05:19Don't ever use her name to stop me.
05:20I said it because I saw her fall, heart.
05:22I was at that rink.
05:23The day it took her.
05:28Baby.
05:29I got you a way through.
05:30Sign this.
05:31They'll clear you on the spot.
05:32One signature.
05:33Just admit on camera.
05:34The old injury ended your career.
05:36You came back as a shadow.
05:38That's the price.
05:42I'm not a shadow.
05:43And I'm not signing anyone's eubalogy for me.
05:47I'm not signing anyone's eubalogy for me.
05:49I'm skating it.
05:51Right now.
05:53Her body.
05:54Her decision.
05:55Step back, Reed.
06:05The unreleased variation.
06:07Page 17.
06:08I'll cue you from the boards.
06:09Count me in.
06:10Like you did the day I came back.
06:17Mia's routine sits on top of this.
06:19Without this, hers is empty.
06:37Heart, your name goes back on the lineup.
06:40As original creator, effective now.
06:43Then she takes the full medical board.
06:45Not your camera show.
06:46X-ray, every MRI, every old file.
06:49Public.
06:49Or, dear, withdraw from the showcase.
06:52Save your dignity.
06:53Save us all.
06:54Public board.
06:55Full files.
06:57Bring all of it.
06:58I'll skate after every page.
06:59Then it's settled.
07:00Full medical review starts tomorrow morning.
07:03Camera's live.
07:03Then we don't need her to fall on the ice.
07:05We just need the board to fail her on paper.
07:09Tomorrow you skate through every doctor.
07:11Tonight, you don't sleep alone with this fear.
07:19Page one.
07:20Nineteen years old surgical pin never removed.
07:23She skates on metal.
07:26His file was sealed.
07:27You broke a court order to get it.
07:29That's a crime.
07:29The board requested every irrelevant document, coach.
07:33Sealed or not.
07:37Yes.
07:38Metal pin.
07:38Six years.
07:40And I won bronze with it.
07:41Read the next page.
07:43Bronze with a pin doesn't clear you for the showcase.
07:45Today's test will.
07:48Part.
07:49Pin or no pin.
07:51Skip the high impact.
07:52Just the recovery set.
07:53Please.
07:54Even now, you please me to skate like glass.
07:57She wants me crushed.
07:58Do you want me caged?
08:00I'm not caging you.
08:02I'm watching the only person who came back.
08:05Don't break twice.
08:07If I don't push it today,
08:09she wins tomorrow.
08:11Step aside, coach.
08:23Look at me, heart.
08:24Not at the cameras.
08:25The next breath,
08:26we take together.
08:29Switch the safety test to me.
08:31I'm her original partner.
08:32I know exactly which way her knee bends.
08:34Two partners, one ice.
08:35The board votes who catches her on the safety lift.
08:39Coach or ex, sis,
08:41pick the one whose hand you actually believe in on live cameras.
08:48The first set, I skate alone.
08:51My knee, my call.
08:52Solo first set, approved.
08:54If she falls, both men step in to verify.
08:57Count of four, baby.
08:58Just like Rome.
08:59Just like Vienna.
09:01Your body remembers.
09:04Solo's a joke, sis.
09:06Even the count makes you wobble.
09:13First set, cleared.
09:15She skates.
09:16Next, paired safety lift.
09:19Solo means nothing.
09:21Make her do the paired lift.
09:22If no man earth dares to catch her, she's out.
09:25Calm down, dear.
09:26Let the board decide who lifts the cripple.
09:30Say that word in front of her one more time, Grace.
09:33I file harassment with the gala.
09:34Baby, my hand caught your first lift at 16.
09:37Let it catch you one more time.
09:38Heart, choose your catcher.
09:40Camera's live.
09:40Five seconds.
09:41Remember this scar, baby?
09:43This is how much your body costs.
09:49My catcher isn't a scar from the past.
09:51It's the breath that brought me back.
09:52Choice locked.
09:53Coach Vance executes the lift, live, in five minutes.
09:57Then let the city see your coach drop you, sis.
10:00One bad grip, and your knee is gone forever.
10:03Watch closely.
10:05This grip doesn't drop.
10:10This grip doesn't drop.
10:12Because the only thing it carries is hers.
10:15Set positions.
10:17Lift in three.
10:19Camera's live.
10:20Verify the knee first, Vance.
10:22As original partner, I have rights to...
10:25You have zero rights to her knee, to her count, to her breath.
10:30Move.
10:31Read.
10:33Back to your boards.
10:34Vance, execute.
10:37Heart, signal when ready.
10:46Paired safety lift, cleared.
10:49Heart is medically passed.
10:51She skates the showcase.
10:54Cleared.
10:55Now move your cameras off his hand.
10:57The lift was technique, not romance.
11:01Technique?
11:02He had her fingers at his mouth on live cameras.
11:04That's not technique.
11:05That's a relationship.
11:06Mia, submit your evidence to the integrity committee.
11:09I'll open a formal review.
11:11Coach skater intimacy.
11:13Formal misconduct review.
11:14The showcase will pause her slot until cleared.
11:16Open the review, but pause my slot, not hers.
11:20I step aside as coach, effective now.
11:24You don't step aside.
11:26You don't decide for me again.
11:30I'm not deciding.
11:31I'm clearing the runway.
11:33So you skate as a creator, not as someone's lover.
11:36Then it's filed.
11:37Misconduct review opens tonight.
11:39If Vance is found in a relationship with Heart, he loses his coaching license.
11:44For life.
11:44File it.
11:45Open it.
11:46I'll answer every question.
11:48But my license is mine to risk.
11:50Hers stays clean.
11:52He just signed away his life for you, sis.
11:56Hope you're worth a coaching license.
12:00Heart, explain on camera.
12:02Coach skater intimacy, yes or no?
12:05He twisted my wrist for trying to verify her knee.
12:08That's not a coach.
12:10That's a man marking territory.
12:12She slept her way back onto the ice.
12:14Now her ex bleeds for it.
12:16Strip her slot.
12:17Don't explain me.
12:18Test me.
12:19Triple the protocol.
12:20I do it.
12:20Alone.
12:21No coach.
12:22No partner.
12:22Triple protocol means three knee impact jumps in succession.
12:26Pin or no pin.
12:27You sure?
12:27I'm sure.
12:28Start the clock.
12:31Down on her knee already!
12:33Two more jumps will end her!
12:43Triple protocol.
12:45The misconduct review is suspended.
12:48Heart skates the showcase.
12:50Coach Vance returns.
12:51Then publish her risk grade.
12:52The board has it!
12:53Grade D, high collapse risk.
12:55Let the city know what they're cheering for!
12:57Grade D, dear.
12:58That's your file.
12:59Either publish it or withdraw.
13:01Privacy or the showcase.
13:03Pick.
13:04Grade D was filed at 19 after six surgeries.
13:07Use that number and you're using a corpse's file to bury a living woman.
13:10Publish it.
13:10Page one to last.
13:11Every x-ray.
13:12Every pin.
13:12I just skate past all of them on live cameras.
13:15Grade D file publicly archived.
13:17Heart slot remains.
13:19Showcase prep continues.
13:20Misconduct review closed.
13:23Every pin is filed.
13:24Every fall is logged.
13:26From tonight, I don't step aside from anything.
13:30Then we move it up.
13:31Tonight, the gala board announces the headline slot.
13:34And I make sure that slot announcement burns her alive.
13:39Before I announce the headline, Heart must address her risk grade publicly now.
13:46Say it on camera, sis!
13:47I might collapse mid-routine and kill my partner's career!
13:49Say it!
13:50Or get off the slot!
13:51I won't partner her at the showcase.
13:53No man with a career will.
13:54She's a walking liability.
13:56Look at her, dear.
13:57She can't even stand long enough to defend herself.
14:00I take full liability for part my name, my license, my signature.
14:06Print it on this card as her contracted catcher.
14:08Print his name as my catcher.
14:10Print mine as the headliner.
14:12And I'll skate every doubt off this ice.
14:14Headliner, Heart, Catcher, Vanch.
14:17One condition.
14:17Your relationship is the marketing centerpiece.
14:20Every poster, every interview, every camera angle.
14:23If you say yes, I become your billboard.
14:26Forever.
14:27Not just your coach.
14:28I don't want a billboard.
14:29I want my own poster.
14:31With or without you.
14:32Then your poster.
14:34I'm only on it if you decide.
14:36Tonight, you choose alone.
14:40Print my name alone as headliner.
14:42Print his as catcher.
14:43Marketing focuses on the routine, not the bedroom.
14:46Counter a four, Heart.
14:47Marketing focuses on whichever wins us ratings.
14:49If your routine outsold the rumor, we follow your terms.
14:51If not, we follow mine.
14:54Routine?!
14:54Rumor sells in three days, sis!
14:56Your knee won't last three days of cameras following you to every bathroom!
15:00Three days.
15:01Cameras everywhere.
15:02I take the bet.
15:03The day my routine outsells her rumor, you tear up your condition.
15:05Deal.
15:05Three days of full public exposure.
15:07Every meal, every practice, every breath on camera.
15:10Starting now.
15:13Three days.
15:14Every camera.
15:16Every breath.
15:17I don't hide.
15:18Not anymore.
15:19Then we begin.
15:21Cameras roll in.
