President Donald Trump reacted to the deadly flash floods in Nepal, calling the tragedy “terrible” and expressing support for those affected. Trump said U.S. officials had contacted Nepal’s leadership and offered assistance, adding that America would provide whatever help was needed. He also said aid was being sent to support rescue and relief efforts. The comments come as Nepal faces the devastating impact of severe flooding, with emergency teams working to assist communities and respond to the crisis.

00:00Reactions to the Americans missing in Nepal?
00:03Oh, it's terrible. No, and we've called Nepal, and we've offered any help that they need.
00:08You know, we have a very good relationship with Nepal, and that was a brutal, that wasn't just, that was
00:14mud and water as a mixture.
00:16Nobody's ever seen anything quite like that.
00:18We're very powerful, strong, you know, strong, well-built buildings were wiped out like they were toothpicks.
00:25That's a terrible thing.
00:26No, we are sending aid, and we've spoken to the leadership, and we let them know anything they want, we'll
00:34have.
00:34And there were 50, maybe 60 Americans over there.
00:38We haven't gotten the full list yet, but hopefully they're okay.
00:42But that looks pretty, that looks like something that people will not be, somebody will be lost, unfortunately.
00:48There is reports that Vladimir Putin is meeting with the president of Iran to talk about a nuclear emergency.
00:56government next week.
00:57Is there concern in the administration, in the White House, that these countries are taking economic D-Day seriously?
01:04That they're going to continue doing business with Iran despite the warnings?
01:09No, Iran is, right now, they're not paying their troops.
01:11They're in deep trouble.
01:13They have very little capacity.
01:17Last night we took 24 boats through the strait.
01:19And we're taking them through all the time.
01:21They say it very openly.
01:23It doesn't mean we're finished with the military, but we are, the strait is open, as you know.
01:29The strait of Hormuz is open.
01:31We have control, and we have the blockade.
01:34Iran's not getting anything, nothing is going through.
01:37Not one ship has gotten through.
01:38But will you punish Putin or Russia if they continue to do business with Iran?
01:41It depends.
01:42So far, I think Russia's behaved quite well having to do with the strait of Hormuz.
01:48And you have to understand, for everything they do, we do also.
01:51You know, somebody was saying about China, what about China?
01:53We hear they're spying.
01:55We spy on them, too.
01:57That's the way it goes.
01:58Why not sanction Chinese banks, though, who are doing business with Iran?
02:01Well, who said I'm not?
02:03You said, why not?
02:04I mean, who said I'm not?
02:05Secretary Kerry hasn't announced it.
02:06You don't know if I'm doing it.
02:07Well, I don't have to announce everything, do I?
02:11What are you speaking to, sir, about what other leaders have you spoken to about this
02:15pressure campaign to get them to cut off ties with Iran?
02:18About Iran?
02:22There's not a lot to speak to.
02:23We don't want to speak to them.
02:24We're not looking to meet or anything.
02:26The strait is open.
02:27We're taking a lot of boats.
02:29Millions and millions of barrels of oil are coming out of the strait every day.
02:34Other countries recognize that.
02:37Every once in a while, they shoot some, you know, they put some shots at.
02:41You know, we totally cleared the strait of, we have the best minesweepers in the world,
02:45the underwater minesweepers, and we've totally cleared the strait of mines, and we're watching
02:50very closely through Space Force, which is one of my things, one of my many things, but
02:55we're watching, we see every inch of the strait, and any boat goes in with a mine.
02:59We see it, and we take it out.
03:01We've taken out two of them.
03:04So I'll be going to Texas, and we're working very hard.
03:08We want to win that race.
03:09He's running against a man who should not, never be.
03:12We have a very good candidate, Ken Paxton, and he's running against Telefrico, they call
03:19him, because he is a little freaky, and that's not a man that represents the value of Texas.
03:24So I'm going to help Ken Paxton, and I'm going to spend a lot of time in Texas.
03:30I have the all-time highest vote in the history of Texas, also, and I'm going to spend some
03:35time there.
03:36We'll be going tonight.
