00:00We're going to be changing the name of Lake Ontario, effective immediately, to Lake America.
00:08That's going to take place right now as I sign the order. Do you have anything to say about it,
00:14Ben?
00:14Yes, sir. So this is a straightforward but important executive order.
00:18It directs Secretary Burgum and the Department of the Interior to update the Geographic Names Information Service
00:24to reflect that the lake once known as Lake Ontario will, from this day forward, be known as Lake America.
00:31This is a lake that has most of its volume in the United States.
00:34The deepest parts of the lake sit in the United States territory, so this will reflect that this is an
00:40American lake.
00:43Okay.
01:06Thank you very much.
01:09And we filed all the necessary papers, documents, everything else.
01:13We've notified all of the various people that we have to notify.
01:17So we've done everything that you have to do.
01:20And this is official, effective immediately.
