00:00What happened during the CIA chief's visit to Moscow?
00:04It started when flight trackers spotted a U.S. military transport jet flying from Latvia
00:09straight into Moscow's Venukovo airport.
00:11On board was CIA director John Ratcliffe, marking the first visit by a sitting CIA chief
00:17to Russia since 2021.
00:19To ensure his safety on the ground, Washington even asked Kyiv to temporarily pause drone
00:24strikes on Moscow and St. Petersburg during his trip.
00:27So, what happened behind closed doors?
00:29Russia's foreign intelligence chief, Sergei Nerishkin, confirmed they met for intelligence
00:34level talks, calling it, nothing unusual, and part of a standard working format.
00:39Meanwhile, U.S. media reports indicate Ratcliffe went to deliver a direct warning against Russian
00:44escalation toward NATO allies.
00:46U.S. President Donald Trump seemed to downplay the trip saying it was semi-routine peace discussions,
00:51while the Kremlin dismissed the NATO warnings as scare stories.
00:54Secret intelligence trips rarely stay secret for long, and this one shows just how active
00:59communications remain behind the scenes.
01:05and this one shows up.
