00:34and fisheries are not dominating our GDP,
00:39but it's the most significant factor in our foreign exchange income.
00:46So fisheries has become a kind of basis to our economy.
00:51And the political reality in this country is such
00:55that no government could ever bring back
00:59and an accession treaty that does not guarantee full control
01:06of Icelanders over its fishing zone.
01:10The stars have aligned up for a favorable accession treaty for Iceland,
01:17but whether people here will sort of jump on that chance or not remains to be seen.
