00:09We visited here during our recent holiday in Crete, and it was a lovely way to spend
00:14a few hours. The aquarium isn't huge, but it's really well laid out and easy to get
00:19around. The tanks are beautifully maintained, and there's a nice variety of sea life,
00:25from jellyfish and seahorses to sharks, rays, and sea turtles. We found it to be clean,
00:32air-conditioned, and a welcome break from the midday sun. Our children really enjoyed watching
00:37the larger tanks, they could have stood there for ages. There's also a cafe and a small gift shop on
00:43site. We were also pleasantly surprised by the admission prices, very reasonable, especially
00:50when you compare it to what you'd pay for a similar aquarium visit back in the UK.
00:55It's not a full-day attraction, but for a couple of hours, it's ideal, particularly if you're
01:00staying nearby.
01:02The visit to the aquarium was a real pleasure. Especially if you snorkel in the sea around
01:08Crete. You can see all the fish you encounter while snorkeling in the aquarium. Usually larger
01:15than you see them yourself, and now also with an explanation of what fish they actually are.
01:20Of course, you also see other species swimming around in the sea. The aquariums are sometimes
01:27beautifully large so you can see large schools of different fish swimming around, and sometimes a
01:32bit smaller so you get a good view of a specific species. The accompanying explanation is well
01:38provided in English. By scanning the QR code, you can also read the explanation on your phone.
01:45The Wi-Fi works fine. In short, fun and educational.
01:51Fantastic quality aquarium, was very pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly. Visited with wife
01:59and 5-year-old son and he was engaged the whole time. We didn't eat but there was a little

02:04where the sandwiches looked very nice. We spent a little over an hour but cloud have taken longer as
02:10there was plenty of information to read, however requires an attention span longer than a 5-year-old.
02:17When then done the duo park straight after very comfortable and convenient to do them both in
02:21the same day. If I'm ever back in Crete I'll be sure to pay another visit.

02:55to enjoy the exhibits without feeling rushed. Overall, it's an enjoyable and relaxing activity for all ages.
03:03Very nice aquarium with lots of different fish, enjoyed it even as an adult. There was lot of
03:09kids which were quite noisy but nothing too bad. Texts in both English and Greek, saw sharks,
03:16maries, turtles, octopus, crabs, loved it. The fish tanks are big and the fish seem in good condition.
03:24It's wheelchair accessible and there's also restaurant in the aquarium.
03:29Aviable by bus or by foot, went there from Cockinihanni.
03:34We visited Crete Aquarium after coming two years ago on our honeymoon and we loved it just as much
03:40as the first time. I now have to use a power chair due to my mobility and I got free
03:45admission along
03:46with my husband who was with me. Wheelchair access is excellent and I could enjoy the whole place easily.
03:53So many different species of fish, sea creatures and sharks. Really interesting place to visit for all ages.
